Thanks so much for booking a sailing holiday with Fraser Island Boat Charters! Now that you've decided to embark on bareboat charter, here's a checklist of what you need to do before you set sail. You'll also find some document links below that will help you to prepare to skipper yourself.

Remember that you'll also be provided with a comprehensive in person briefing before you head off so don't stress if this is your first time chartering with us.

  • Make sure you have completed and signed your charter booking form
  • Pay a deposit to secure your booking - our team will send this to you via email
  • Check out our documents below for an introduction on what you can expect when you arrive
  • Full payment is due 90 days prior to your charter start date
  • Check out our FAQ page and find out what's included on our bareboats to help you pack for your sailing adventure
  • Our skipper will be in contact with you 24 - 48 hours prior to your charter to organise arrival times and meeting points
