At Fraser Island Boat Charters, we are incredibly passionate about conservation and the beautiful environment that we are blessed to operate in. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint by incorporating the following sustainable practices in all of our operations;

  • Encouraging guests to make use of sails while on any of our vessels instead of motoring
  • Solar power has been implemented on board vessels to conserve energy
  • Educating all of our charterers on ways in which they can reduce their impact on the marine environment of the Great Sandy Strait while on charter including waste, water and power reduction
  • Working with local suppliers to be across sourcing products that are environmentally friendly
  • Continuing to work with other businesses in the Fraser Coast tourism industry to support educational events and innovative products that work towards conserving our environment and reducing our carbon footprint
